The mold seen in this photo is just a section of the home that was affected by mold. The homeowners were out of the country when this unfortunate accident occurred; thus the water damage was left untreated for a week causing mold to grow throughout the entire downstairs area of the home.

It is important to construct a containment where mold is found so that mold spores do not spread throughout the home. In this photo, there are more than ten square feet of visible microbial growth present. This damage was caused by a dishwasher that had leaked and due to the amount of time, the cabinet stayed wet, mold grew.  Due to this, this is considered a category three loss and Mold remediation is necessary.
